Moonsilver's Dream

 Another Blogthing about me

How You Life Your Life

You seem to be straight forward, but you keep a lot inside.

You tend to avoid confrontation and stay away from sticky situations.

You prefer a variety of friends and tend to change friends quickly.

You have one big dream in your life, and you never lose sight of it.

I'm not sure just how acurate this test is since a lot of the things it asks about are things I am not really able to do in my life right now. But I do tend to hold a lot in and I do have a lot of friends, but most of them have been my friends for many years and some not so many years.

 On the road with Frankenstein

Ok, Ok. I know I’ve been slacking some. Here it is Wednesday night and I haven’t given any updates on my travels. Hey, I needed a little time off from my time off, I guess.
Anyway, we made it to Rockfest 2006. Four days of fun, rock and roll, good friends and good food. Most of our time there it wasn’t too hot but the last day was a scorcher.
The bands I got to see: Kansas on Thursday night, Seven Mary Three, Puddle of Mud, George Throughgood and Kid Rock on Friday, Tesla, 10 years, Poppa Roach and Motley Crue on Saturday and on Sunday was Cinderella, Live, Staind, and Poison. There were others I didn’t see, like Warrent and Sammy Hagar. I didn’t go see 10 years either but Brian did. For the most part it was a pretty good show. Kid Rock put on a kick ass show, just like I knew he would. He had that whole place rocking. He played every single instrument in his band and then he was spinning records too. Of course he had his girls dancing on the poles but no fireworks this time and no motorcycle. Tesla and Live and Poppa Roach all put on great shows. Motley Crue sucked big time. Their sound man must have been asleep or something. You couldn’t even hear Vince Neil most of the time. They put off all kinds of fireworks. From front row, I had to wear my ear plugs for that one. So of course that made it even harder to hear the words to the songs. A lot of people were pretty disappointed with their show.
Poison closed the weekend and I must say, I can’t stand them and will not ever go to see them again. Let’s put it this way, I would never pay money to see them. If they are playing somewhere with another band that I do want to see, I’d go but the other band better be pretty good cause I got no love for Poison. I’ll tell you why. We bought VIP tickets, they aren’t cheap, I’m handicapped so they give us front row with our VIP tickets. Now most of the time it’s really cool but Poison gets on stage and what do they do? They ask that everybody come on down to the front of the stage. Now when I come to the front row to take my seat and watch the show that I paid all that money to see, there are all these people standing up right in front of all the handicapped seats. So all I get to see of the show is all these asses in front of me. I was so pissed. I just turned my scooter around and went back to my campsite. I had more fun in the campground that night than in front of the stage with a bunch of asses jumping up and down in front of me. Sorry but the only ass I want to see shaking in front of me belongs to my Husband.
The food was pretty good this year too. I think it was better than what we got at Moondance too. They had fried fish, fried shrimp, seafood lasagne, barbequed ribs, steaks, roast pork, glazed ham, Italian baked chicken, prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes, twice baked potatoes, potato wedges, chicken jambalaya, corn, mixed veggies, salads and deserts too. Everything was so good and we got unlimited drinks and beer too.
I met a lot of new people this year too. I met an awesome young lady named Courtney. I sure hope I get to see her again, she and her family. They were so cool. The kids were so respectful to their parents and they had so much fun together. Courtney was given a flu shot when she was 4 years old. She had a very bad reaction to it and was left in a wheel chair from it. Her whole family was saying how their parents had given up so much to be able to take care of her and the other kids too. The thing is they all had such positive out looks on life and everything. And boy did they party! We had such a good time with this family, I do hope we see them again next year.
After the show, we went to Eau Claire, WI and got a room in the same hotel we stayed in last year. They still haven’t gotten that hot tub fixed. Apparently the people who were building it last year, cracked it and it won’t hold water. I was so looking forward to getting in that tub but not this year. The swimming pool was still there so we went swimming in it twice. The water was a little too hot though. It felt like a big giant hot tub. I loved it, Brian said it was too hot for him. I too would have liked it to be a little cooler but it was very nice to me anyway.
We got up today and checked out and got back on the road again. I wasn’t feeling too good. I needed to put my feet up, they are so swollen right now. We are headed for Indiana tomorrow to spend a couple of days with our friends BJ and Tracey. We stopped for the night and got a room in a Days Inn somewhere near Bloomington and Normal, Illinois. The roads in Illinois are sucky. And then they make you pay a toll to drive on their shitty roads.
I just wish my feet would stop swelling! I’m in the bed with my feet up right now and have had my feet up all day today. It’s helping some but as soon as I have to sit on my scooter for any length of time, they just swell right back up again. Oh well, I’m still a very lucky lady!
Oh yeah, by the way, we have given the bus a name. It will be called Frankenstein! It looks like a good Frankenstein too, can’t wait until Halloween. I figure I can find some good decorations for Frankenstein for next summer. Maybe a big blow up Frankenstein and some green lights to put up around the out side of the bus or something.
That’s it for now, gonna go see what all is going on in the stream!

 I knew it!

You May Be a Bit Schizotypal...

A bit odd and socially isolated.

You couldn't care less of what others think.

And some of your beliefs are a little weird.

Like that time you thought you were Jesus.

 And the answer is....

Your Dosha is Pitta

You have a quick mind, a gift for persuasion, and a sharp sense of humor.

You have both the drive and people skills to be a very successful leader.

Argumentative and a bit stubborn, you have been known to be a little too set in your ways.

But while you may be biased toward your own point of view, you are always honest, fair, and ethical.

With friends: You are outgoing and open to anyone who might want to talk to you

In love: You are picky but passionate

To achieve more balance: Be less judgmental of those around you, and take cool walks in the moonlight.
