We went out to eat last night at the Texas Steakhouse and Saloon. It was very good and I think we all really enjoyed ourselves. First we got this hot crab dip with little round pieces of buttered toast. Oh man, I could have made a whole meal out of that! It was so good. Then Lois and I both got these mixed drinks called Cactus Coladas, I forget whatall was in the drinks but man it was so tasty. Strawberries, coconut, rum, whatever and whipped cream on top. They served it in a glass mug shaped like a little cowboy boot and then when we was finished drinking the drinks, they said we could take the mugs home with us. That's pretty cool, now we have a little something to remember our dinner with our friends. I had these big jumbo fried shrimp with a spicy plum sauce and little red potatoes. It was very good. Brian got a fahita salad with steak. He said the steak was done just the way he liked it, so he was happy with his too. Charlie got ribs and Lois got a steak and they both had baked sweet potatoes. Charlie said his was pretty good but Lois had ordered her steak to be rare and then said it was too rare for her. But then again like she said, they had a fridge and microwave in the room and once she reheated it in the microwave, it would be just right.
Our room doesn't have a fridge or a microwave in it and the room is so small. Their room is the handicap room and it is much bigger and has a bigger bathroom with a shower in it.
After dinner we came back to the hotel and spent some time with Charlie and Lois in their room until Lois feel asleep. I was pretty tired to so I was ready to come back to our room. I got online for about an hour last night, but I was too tired to do much blogging so I just played some games on Pogo and then went to sleep.
Today we got up and went to an Asian Buffet that is across the street from the hotel. My favorite kind of place to be! I had salt and pepper shrimp, seafood delite, crab rangoon, veg. egg foo young and lots of other things too. It was so good, I am a very happy girl. I don't think Lois was very happy, she didn't eat off the buffet, she ordered pork fried rice. Don't tell anyone, but to me it looked just like the same fried rice that was on the buffet with a little more pork thrown in for good measure.
Well, since they didn't want to load and unload the scooters we just road them across the street to the restaurant and afterward we found a very small movie theater right behind the restaurant. It was only playing two movies. King Kong and Fun with Dick and Jane. Well, the tickets were only $2.50 each, so we decided on Fun With Dick and Jane. It was a very very funny movie. That Jim Carey is such a nit case. We had popcorn of course and a soda too. It was fun. I liked the movie and so did everybody. Now I'm so tired. I tried to get online earlier today but the high speed was down for some reason. I did get online but I had to use a phone line and dial-up. God, I hate dial-up! It is so freaking slow and have the time I can't get the web sites to load up and it's just a real pain in the ass. I wish I could get high speed internet access at home.
This fucking room doesn't have airconditioning or something and it's so fucking hot in here!
I miss my bed too, I've had fun, now I want to go back home. Can I just take the high speed access home with me, please, please with sugar on top!
Before we went to the movie, Lois and Charlie wanted to go to the Big Lots store that was nearby. I had a blast in there. I shouldn't have bought so much stuff but I don't get to go there much. I got some cool lights to take to Rock fest this summer to light up our campsite. I got a bag of 100 little tea lights for a couple of bucks, we got some wash rags for the bathroom and for the kitchen, I got some seeds for Shawn, and I got this kick ass little lunch box with the Grinch on it to add to my little collection. I have two other boxes, one has Winnie the Pooh on it and the other has Grateful Dead Bears on it. Aaron loved the Grinch. It made me think of him.
After we had finished shopping we started on our way back over to the movie house. My damn scooter's batteries went almost dead and Lois tried to push me up the little hill and I'm afraid she may have fucked up her scooter. I hope not but then again she has had other problems with it as well. It would be nice if she could get a new one. Mine needs new batteries. They only last about two years and that's how old mine are. We just have to stop being so lazy and get up off our asses and get er done, right?
Jerry and Cesar are napping right now and Brian is over at Charlie and Lois' drinking something, it's not beer, it's something like a mixed drink with watermelon and rum or something. I was just too tired to go over there. I wanted to get comfortable and that's not an easy thing for me to do even in my own room here. I miss my bed and my chair and my table for my laptop!

Once again the plans change. Instead of going to Martinsburg, WV, we are in Winchester, Va. We couldn't get two handicap rooms so I let Lois have the one we could get. She's older than I am and her health is not quite as good as mine. She was left paralized in a mini-van accident several years ago and she has Lupus too. She has a real hard time with her breathing and has to take treatments for it. She has a scooter like mine and she has a wheelchair too. She can walk but not much. I'm the same way but I don't have Lupus. I have a oxygen machine but I only use it at night. There are times when I have to take the same kind of breathing treatments and I have to stay on the oxygen all the time but thankfully since my surgery the episodes where this happens are shorter and fewer.
So anyway, we don't have a handicap room but they let us have the dogs and they have high speed internet! Which I love!
Gotta go for now, we are going out to dinner now. I think it's a steak house. I hope they have shrimp!

Well, we are up and getting everything packed into the car. It won't be long now and we will be on the road. I think we are going to have some fun. We need to. Winter is kinda hard on both of us. It's time to get myself motivated. Now what else do I need to do? Pillow cases, shampoo, shoes, computer, etc. etc. Talk to you guys later!

Well, our plans have changed just a bit. We are now going to leave tomorrow afternoon. At least I have taken a shower and gotten most everything ready to go, so I won't have too much to do tomorrow.
I had a good time with everyone in Jonnie's Sex for Dummies room last night. I stayed up way too late. I should have gone ahead and called in to Schree and Baby's show but I really wanted to get to bed early and I knew if I called in, I would talk the whole freakin'time. I love them girls so much, they are such fun but sometimes you gotta be more responsible, right? Whatever. Not me, heehee.
Shawn went fishing today. He had a good time. Got to use his new wireless fish finder. He caught some fish too, said the fish finder works great. He was all excited. He's a little afraid that no one will want to go fishing with him anymore because he is catching all the fish and the people that take him fishing don't seem to catch anything. He's afraid they will think he is a jinx or something. Then he says maybe they will start listening to him because he knows where the fish are and how they think. He does study fishing a lot, that's for sure.

Well people, we are hitting the road again, tonight. We are heading to West Virginia to hang out with a couple of friends of ours from Pa. It will be good to see them. Haven't seen them since last summer. We are going to have dinner and go see a movie together. It should be a fun weekend get together. I will keep you all updated on how it goes. We are taking Cesar and Jerry with us. I just can't stand it when we don't take them with us. I miss my little cesar so much and I know that both dogs miss us so much. Be back later!
