Hello everybody! I'm in Ohio today, I think we are near Cleveland for tonight. We are headed for New York tomorrow. We are going to a Pagan festival near Buffalo, New York this weekend and I can't wait. We are running late and will not be there until sometime tomorrow afternoon. The festival started on Tuesday but we were still in Wisconsin then.
We stayed in a Howard Johnson Hotel last night. What a cheesy hotel. They didn't have air conditioning in the rooms so we had to get a fan from our bus or we would have roasted! And no internet in the rooms either, only in the Lobby. Yeah, like I'm going to go sit in their lobby and work on my computer, whatever. Our room was so small too. I could barely get around in it. I didn't see even one handicapped room in the whole hotel either. Every room on the ground floor had a step leading up into the room. Man, you should have seen us trying to get me into the room! That's one room I was glad to check out of!
Tonight we are in a Comfort Inn and so far it's pretty cool. They have a great bathroom with a nice walk in shower for me and plenty of room to move around in too. They have a laundry but unfortunately, the one closest to our room, the dryer doesn't work, so Brian has to use another laundry room here. They have a nice indoor pool but I haven't looked yet to see if it is ok for me to use.
Anyway, last weekends RockFest was pretty cool. We saw The New Cars, Deep Purple, Fuel, Godsmack, The Tragically Hip, Collective Soul, Kiss, Third Eye Blind and 3 Doors Down. I got 3 guitar picks, two from Deep Purple and one from 3 Doors Down. One of our friends, Brian gave us one of the guitar picks from Deep Purple and he gave us a drum stick from Godsmack too. The music was great and the food was good like always. But when we went to renew our same seats which are front row handicapp VIP, they wouldn't let us. They are telling us that we are going to be moved over to D section which is way over to the side of the stage and the only thing we will see from there is what ever is on the big jumbotron or the big TV. They are giving all our front row seats to the fat cat corparations cause they want them and they think it's a good idea. Yeah, it's a good idea if what you are trying to do is get rid of the handicapped or to make our lives a little harder. We wrote up a petition against their decision and so far I've got a bunch of signatures. I'm thinking I should put it on the internet too. We have been fighting with them for a couple of years over this issue and lots of the usual handicapped people have just given up and didn't even show up this year. Life is hard enough of a fight without having to go up against these rich fat cats who just plain don't give a damn about anybody but themselves. In years past, they have even resorted to acting like they are handicapped so they can just take our seats. Talk about making people mad! This year this one woman got up in my face and screamed at me, that I wasn't sitting in my seat. I told her that I was sitting in my seat as best as I could. They don't give you very much room. Most of us on the front row are in either wheel chairs or on motorized scooters and they take up more room. Well, she wouldn't shut up about, kept screaming at me so I ended up screaming right back at her, fuck that shit. There was only Lois and me and one other guy sitting there when she came over and started her shit. There was plenty of room for her fucking ass, you know we saved her seat. She was screaming about someone elses seat that never even showed up!

I think she owes me an apology too. What a fucking bitch! I didn't need to hear her fucking mouth and guess what? She's not even a handicapped person, her husband is. The poor man, he was so freaking embarrassed. He has always been a very nice and friendly person but not her ass. I just try to get along with everybody as best as I can for the most part but when you start screaming at me for something I can't do anything about, well, fuck it, all bets are off and I'm going to give back as good as I'm getting.
Anyway, other than that, we had a really good time at Rock Fest. We found this one campsite that was a big lime green bus and they had poles and music and they were encouraging everyone to do pole dances, gals and guys. It was fun to watch but for some reason I couldn't get Brian to get up there!
Well that's all for now. I'll let you all know how this weekend goes in NY. And BTW, Thanks to everyone for the comments and the Birthday wishes!

You guys ROCK!
