Ok, I figured that title would get you guys but wait there is an explanation to it, really there is. There is method to my madness, for shizzle, my dizzle.
You see it all started as a Birthday for my Mother-In-Law and a night out with a nice dinner and a little live music with her. Well, we ended up having a right nice little crowd of family and friends at an Awful Arthur's in Roanoke. There was about 10 of us there and we had a blast. We ate good seafood the entire time we were there. There was jumbo shrimp, oysters, crab cakes, callimori, french fries and a few other items as well. They have a drink they call a Tropical Storm, it is so good. I had at least two of them. They are alcoholic, they are a frozen white and creamy drink with some rum and a nice rasberry liguir in the bottom which you swirl around making it look like a red tornado. There was plenty of Beer consumed along with lots of other mixed drinks like Long Island Iced Teas and Rum and Cokes. One of our favorite local bands was playing, they are called the Seed. They sound very Reggae and are great for dancing and partying on your birthday! Yes, we celebrated my Mother-In-Law's Birthday to the max! It was so much fun. I just love her so much. She is only 6 months older than me and we get along great. I actually first met her when my future husband was only two years old. I wanted so much to be part of her circle of friends but it was not to be, at least at that time. I guess everything does happen for a reason. Because I really didn't get to see her again until Brian was 23 years old and then I didn't know he was her son. But we are happy and she is very happy too and that's all that matters in my book.
We had plans to get up today and go to Reading, Pa to see The New Riders of The Purple Sage, VIP. Which would have meant we would get extras like dinner with the band. But this morning when Brian got up he was sick.

So we didn't get to go. We will stay home and enjoy an evening with my son and the TV. A nice quiet evening. I've got some Vanilla Rum and some Coke, so I can have myself a little mixed drink and I'll fire up my volcano and get a buzz on.
I hope all my fellow Blogstreamers have a very Happy New Year's Eve tonight!
Thanks for stopping by! It's great to be back and it's been SO good seeing everyone again. Here's to the best of luck for us all in 2008!
Take care,
Pye
It sounds like you had a quiet, peaceful, mellow New Year's Eve.
